Frequently asked questions
How BarrelBridge works, how we are paid, and how we screen deals.
Who can work with BarrelBridge?
Serious buyers and sellers of crude oil, natural gas, and refined products. This includes industrial manufacturers, chemical processors, logistics operators, independent E&P operators, and portfolio energy buyers. We work with companies and sophisticated individuals, not retail end-users.
How does BarrelBridge get paid?
We earn a brokerage fee at deal close, tied to the deal outcome. There are no retainer fees, no upfront charges, and no cost to submit a deal or request a consultation.
How do you protect against fraud?
Every deal and counterparty goes through our due diligence framework before any introduction is made. We screen for advance-fee fraud patterns, verify entity legitimacy through public records and direct contact, authenticate documentation, and assess deal viability against current market conditions. Deals that do not pass are declined.
What is an SCO deal and how does BarrelBridge handle them?
An SCO (Seller Corporate Offer) is a formal document from a seller entity offering crude oil or refined products for sale. The international market sees a high volume of fraudulent SCO activity, so we verify the issuing entity, authenticate the document structure, and screen pricing against market data before any introduction proceeds.
What geographies do you cover?
Domestic deals across the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, Mid-Continent, and Appalachia. We also facilitate international SCO transactions and physical crude inquiries where parties can pass sanctions and compliance review.
